INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO MULTISOFT SYSTEMS

On 5th September, 2014 a group of fifty students from 3rd semester (CSE) along with faculty coordinator Mr. Tanupriya Choudhury Assistant Professor Department of Computer Science & Engineering of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon visited Multisoft Systems, Noida. The basic agenda of the visit was to familiarize the students with knowledge of the fields they enter and specialize in after their graduation.

Multisoft Systems was established in 2002 by a team of professionals from Global Consulting Firms who had engineering and management background from eminent institutes like IIT's and IIM's. It specializes in the field of Development, Consulting and Training on various Software, Tools and Technologies, addressing the growing needs of the IT market & provides consummate results in the field by producing the best of talent catering to different verticals like: Corporate, Retail, Institutional and Boot My Camp.

The visit provides students an acquaintance to practical applications of various concepts they study in college and exposed them to real world problems. How to make a software and what is basically a software and how it grabs a market or industry. The requirements of recruitment in different companies as well as colleges were discussed. The upcoming projects and competitions were also planned in the session. The students were also updated about the scope of various fields like Big Data, Networking, and distributed computing, cloud and grid computing.

The session was very communicative and interactive. All the queries of the students regarding their career and the fields they want to focus upon were properly answered. The students aware about the industry and its operations. They were assured another gathering in imminent future. The visit turned out to be a success as all students returned motivated and conversant.
