WORKSHOP ON INFORMATICA

Electronics and Computer Engineering (ECS) Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organised a one day workshop on INFORMATICA: Data Integration Tool in collaboration with Consultancy Development Centre (CDC), an Autonomous Institution of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR),Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India on 11th October 2014.

The objective of the workshop was to set up the stage for bringing together people from two different genres – Academics and Corporate sectors and to deliver the session with competitive advantage through exposure to Informatica’s enormous business value.

The event was inaugurated in the gracious presence of Ms. Shelika Arora (Professional B, Consultancy Development Centre, Speaker Mr. Gaurav K. Veerman (Software Designer, Informatica Centre of Excellence Team, Financial Services and Insurance Unit, RBS Group), Principal Prof.(Dr.) B.M.K Prasad, Prof. Neelam Ruhil (HOD ECS) and the HODs of various other departments.

The faculty coordinators for the event, Ms. Parul Bansal (Asst. Professor, ECS Dept.) and Ms. Priyanka Mahani (Asst. Professor, ECS Dept.) welcomed the participants to the event. The participants in the workshop were from the industries, corporate sector and academic. sector. All the participants had significant experience in the corporate world. A questionnaire concluded the session in which the audience participated actively. The expert Mr. Gaurav K. Veerman shared how to deliver clean, safe and connected data by design through Informatica.
