IEEE DELHI R 10

Shiva Sharma Pre-final year student from Electronics & Communication Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering appointed as Vice Chair IEEE Student Branch Networking by IEEE Delhi R 10.

The IEEE Region 10, also referred as the Asia Pacific Region, comprises of 57 sections, 6 councils, 17 substations, 515 chapters, 60 Affinity groups and 98 student Branches. The core values which are essential to guide IEEE are as follows:

1. To formulate goals and objectives for the Region.

2. To plan Regional operations, including budget preparation.

3. To plan and implement programs in support of the local organizational units in meeting the needs of the members of the Region.

4. Programs for volunteers and members to enhance their interpersonal skills, group skills and leadership abilities.

5. To provide leadership opportunities for interested members to take an active role within the operations of the Region.
