On 15th November 2013, Mrs. Neelam Ruhil, Associate Professor, Computer Science Engineering Department Of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon  attended a one-day seminar on IBM Solutions Connect: Smart Ideas, Smart Actions held at Leela Ambience Hotel, Gurgaon. The objective of the seminar was to discover how IBM’s latest solutions can address tomorrow’s challenges and help to covert smart ideas into smarter actions.

Mr. Jason Mosakowski, Director of Software Sales & Marketing IBM India, South Asia; Mr John C. Frech, Vice President–Worldwide Sales, IBM; Mr. Francis Rajan Vice President - ICT, BIAL; Mr. Deepak Amar, Solution Consultant, IBM; Mr. P. D. Mallya, Head, Information Security Group, Infosys; Mr. Jitender Sharma, Sr. Consultant, IBM and Ms. Priyanka Deswal, Big Data Architect, IBM shared their views on various technical applications of IBM Software. They also talked about concepts like Cognos Dynamic Cubes and DB2 with BLU acceleration solution, WAS Liberty Core, DevOps, Data Warehousing in the Big Data World and Smarter Content Management etc.

It was a good learning experience for the participants to learn about Software technologies and how to optimize them for better services.
