ETHICAL HACKING

NSIT, Dwarka in association with Techdefence Private Limited, Ahmadabad conducted a two days workshop on Ethical Hacking Expert, LEVEL(1.0) on 18th-19th March 2013. Thousands of students from all over India had participated in the workshop. Uday Shankar (Roll No. 14636) from Electronics and Computer Engineering Department, Dronacharya College of Engineering attended the national level workshop.

The Keynote Speaker was Mr. Sunny Vaghela, Director & Chief Technical Officer of Techdefence Consulting Private Limited. The Speaker briefed about the requirements of security professionals at all levels. According to "International Data Corporation (IDC) there’s a requirement of 1,88,000 security professionals however, currently the number in India is only around 22,000." So there’s a great scope for young professionals!Information security is increasingly becoming a boardroom level concern, so training and certification are becoming increasingly important for candidates and companies.
