“Shariram hi vina vayum samatam yaati darubhih
Vayuh praanh sukham yayurvayuh sarwamidam jagat.”
                                                                                                                                                      (The Ramayana)

“Without air our body becomes inanimate object as air is consciousness,
conscience, happiness, satisfaction and life too. And air itself is all in all.”

Yoga is a science that deals with the purification of air. Mr. Trilok Sharma, Dr. Sunil Arya with a well-skilled team took initiatives and made enviable endeavours to make this camp a thumping success. They also distributed books on Yoga among the students.

These two leading Yoga practitioners demonstrated different Pranayams, Asans, Mudras and also shared their views on leading a stress-free life.  They taught us the world is all delusion; meditate and leave it all behind.

Last day of the Yoga Camp, in the presence of Club coordinators Mrs. Meenakshi Yadav and Ms. Tanu Rawal, the College distributed T-Shirts, Fruits etc among all participants.

The closing ceremony of Yoga Camp was held on 13th November, 2009 at 6:30 am.  On this occasion our esteemed and multifarious Dean (Academics) Prof. (Dr.) Onkar Singh emphasized on the importance of yoga in today’s competitive world. Prof. (Dr.) D. S. Sharma, Chairman (Hostel Committee), Prof. (Dr.) D. P. Singh, Head (BME Deptt.) and Mr. P. S. Yadav, Registrar were also under the influence of Yoga.

Our Hon’ble Principal, Prof. (Dr.) B. M. K. Prasad expressed his gratitude towards Bharat Swabhimaan Trust for honest and selfless services at the College Campus. In his short and coherent speech he exhorted the participants to practice the Yoga and render a unique service to the society and nation.  He reiterated that yoga takes our awareness from our own centre into attunement with that Divine Consciousness which is a centre everywhere, circumference nowhere.

To explore new avenues, new horizons of Health Club more initiatives have been planned for the forthcoming Yoga Camps.
