BLOOD DONATION CAMP

With a vision to avail an opportunity to serve the society, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organised a Blood Donation Camp on 10th Feb., 2014 in coordination with the Gurgaon based-South City Centre of Rotary Club. The camp was inaugurated by the Chief-guest Hon’ble Dr. Satish Yadav, Chairman, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon. Motivating the students he said: "Blood transfusion saves lives, but millions of patients needing this do not have timely access to safe blood. He also thanked the personnel of Rotary Blood Bank, South City, Gurgaon for utilising their precious time for social welfare. More than 300 students, faculty and staff members showed their interest in blood donation. There were long queues of blood donors, both boys and girls, who seemed to be more enthusiastic than ever before. Hon’ble Principal Prof. (Dr.) M.N. Hussain and the Registrar Prof. S.K.Yadav placed on record a profound sense of gratitude to the magnanimous members of Rotary Club (South City) Gurgaon, the doctors, nurses , the para-military team, students and all donors for social cause.
