SPORTS MEET

The Annual Sports Meet for Faculty and Staff was conducted on 20th and 21st November 2013. Faculty members from various departments took part in different sports. The various sports events for Male Staff were: Cricket, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Badminton & 100 meters race.

The sports events for Female Staff were: Cricket, Basket Ball, Badminton, Table Tennis (Singles), 100 meters race, Lemon Spoon Race & Musical Chair.

The Male Staff teams comprised:

Team A: ECE + ECS + EEE + ME + CIVIL

Team B: IT + CSE + APPLIED SCIENCE + ADMIN

The Female Staff teams comprised:

Team A: ECE + ECS + EEE + APPLIED SCIENCE + ADMIN

Team B: IT + CSE + ME + CIVIL

In 100 meter race, Mr. B.L. Tudu from Mechanical Engineering Department won the Gold Medal in Male category whereas Mrs. Madhu from Electronics and Communication Engineering Department won the Gold Medal in the Female category.

The winners of the Lemon Race and Musical Chair were Mrs. Poonam Yadav and Mrs. Shailli Goyal respectively, from ECE Department.

Hon’ble Principal Prof.(Dr.) M. N. Hussain appreciated the zeal and interest of the faculty members and staff in taking a part in various sports activity. Further, he distributed trophies and medals to the winners.
