AEROSPACE AWARENESS

On 22nd October, 2013 a group of 17 students along with two faculty members Mr. K.S. Vishwanath and Mr. Lokesh Kumar from Mechnaical Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgoan attended a one -day Workshop on Aerospace Awareness, organised by AUSY Technologies India Pvt. Ltd.

The objective of this workshop was to share the concepts related to Aerospace structure, Wiring & Circuits, Cabin, Interior Design, System Engineering, Embedded system, Technical Publications, Production Support, Plant Layout, Side shell design, Electric Bracket Installation Drawing & Stress Justification etc.

The resource persons Mr. Jan Onne Backhus, Director Offshore, Elan–Ausy, Hamburg Germany; Mr. Vikram Jain, Business & Delivery Director, Ausy Technologies and Mr. Anwer Adil, Ausy Technologies Gurgaon explained the theoretical as well as practical aspects of Frame Bending Test on aircraft, AERO-CAD, ANSYS, softwares, Crash Simulation, Composite Structures Analysis of aircraft etc.

The workshop was beneficial for participants to learn about aerospace concepts.
