IPEV

The Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (IPEV) of the Indian Air Force was brought to Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida by IAF woman officer, Flt. Lt. Nisha Nain of Air Force Station, Ghaziabad along with seven Air Force technicians on 26th November 2015. This has been arranged with the DISHA publicity cell of Air Force at Air HQ (Vayu Bhavan), New Delhi. Twenty Eight students from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon had visited to DGI, Greater Noida for IAF Induction Publicity Exhibition by Air Force.

The aim of the visit of the vehicle was to give an exposure to the budding engineers about the high tech equipment, air craft & aviation technology being used in the Air Force. This is with the ultimate goal to motivate engineers to join IAF after their graduation.

The mobile platform is equipped with equipment like touch panels, tabs, simulator, video screens & air craft models etc. The vehicle houses an Information Zone, Experience Zone, Simulator Zone and Aircraft Model Zone. These features were elaborated to the students by the air force technicians and supplemented by videos along with.

The visit of students to IPEV were conducted in batches of 12 each for 30min/batch inside the vehicle. The Air Force woman officer, Flt. Lt. Nisha Nain interacted with the girl students. The girls felt highly motivated after talking to her and expressed their willingness to join IAF after completion of their studies.

The visit concluded around 3 pm. Overall the visit of the IAF IPEV has been very beneficial and useful for our students.
