TECHUNT-2013 AT IIT BOMBAY

Two students from CSE Department Yashika Arora  (Roll No. 14120), Tarika Bhutan (Roll No 14108) and one student from IT Department  Kajal Kanika (Roll No 14435) of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon were selected for the Grand Finale round of Tech-Hunt 2013 jointly hosted by Nurture Talent Academy and Computer Society of India at IIT Bombay on 6th December 2013.

During the event around 3000 students participated in Mobipreneur/Webpreneur/Idea2Execution workshops conducted by NTA across 25 cities all over India. Amongst the 3000 students around 30 teams were selected for the Grand Finale of Techunt- 2013. Out of the 30 teams, 3 teams comprising Yashika Arora, Tarika Bhutan and Kajal Kanika from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon  were selected for the Grand Finale round.

For supporting and encouraging entrepreneurship,  top 6 colleges out of 55 received BEST COLLEGE AWARD . The colleges were Muthyammal Engineering College Rasipuram, Dronacharya College of Engineering Gurgaon, SVCE College for Women Tirupati, Vimal Jyothi Engineering College Chemperi, Sri Sairam Institute of Technology Chennai and Jeppiaar Engineering College Chennai. Ms. Chesta Aggarwal, Asst. Professor from CSE Department  of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon was  awarded with the  TecHunt- “MENTOR OF THE YEAR-2013” .
