PROJECT COMPETITION

A team of four students Ruby Sharma (Roll No. 15378), Naveen Singla (Roll No. 15340), Rahul (Roll No. 15940) and Rahul Yadav (Roll No. 15367) from Mechanical Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon participated in a Project Competition - Innotech - 2014 held at SGT University on 19th September 2014. More than 1000 students from twelve colleges participated in the Tech Fest.

The objective of the program was to check and bring out the aptitude, talent and skills of the budding engineers. INNOTECH 2014 was an effort to bring the annual celebration of “The Spirit of Engineering”

The competition had a series of workshops, events, lectures and qualifiers for testing the aptitude, talent and skills of the budding engineers. The event included Quiz competition and Working Model contest mainly along with many more aptitude & technical tests. Students from various colleges presented their technical projects focussing on CNG Bike, Security Based Structures, Wirelessly Controlled Gun, Automatic Lightening of SGT Models, Manually Operated Mixer/Energy Generator etc.

The team from DCE, Gurgaon made the project presentation of their model, “Robo Rotating On Lyth Car With Robotic Arm”. They took part in the Quiz Competition as well.

The Tech Fest ended on a very high note and Dr. TD Dogra, Pro VC and Dr. Dalip Singh, Director Planning & Implementation distributed cash prizes and trophies to the winners. The team from DCE Gurgaon won runner up position in project competition and 3rd prize in quiz competition.
