CAREER-FEST-2013

The Alumni Association of Computer Science Engineering Department,Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organised a two-day event The Career-Fest from 10th to 11th October 2013 sponsored by NIIT,Gurgaon. The objective of this event was to share career-oriented strategies with the Final year students.

The alumni of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon, Mr. Anupam Atri, Co-founder of Avokado Technologies; Mr. Mohit Mamoria, Founder and CEO of Owlgrin; Ms. Teena Thareja, a Software Developer in the Computer Service Centre, Norwich; Mr. Himanshu Grover, Project Manager in IBM; Anurag Kishore, a senior developer in SAP LABS India Pvt. Ltd; Mr. Rohan Tyagi, a digital product manager with ABP News and Mr. Sandeep Rajan working with Colt Technology Services India disseminated the knowledge about skills, strategies and planning required in the professional world.

The Guest Speakers from Industry, Mr. Ayaan Chawla, Co-founder of Asian Fox Developments and Mr.Gaurav Chauhan, Director of NIIT, Gurgaon interacted with the students and guided them howto get placed in the real industry world and stabilize in the competitive global market.

The event concluded with a valedictory session where mementoes were presented to all the alumini and Guest Speakers. The event was interesting, informative and educative.
