On 29th April 2014, five faculty members Prof.(Dr.) D.K.Singh, Mrs. Rita Yadav, Mrs. Pooja Jain, Dr. Binay Kumar and Dr. Jyoti Anand from Applied Sciences & Humanities Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended a one -day Seminar on ‘Technical computing with MATLAB’ at Hotel Le Meridien ,New Delhi.

It was organized by MathWorks (Accelerating the pace of Engineering and Science). MathWorks events help to evaluate different technical computing options.

The distinguished speaker Mr.U.M.Sunder, Senior Application Manager, Bangalore talked about MATLAB for data processing and application development. He discussed Mathematical Modeling with MATLAB & Developing Application in MATLAB and shared the ways to create awareness on MathWorks solution for data analysis. He also explained about customize and automate analysis and reporting, build MATLAB models to predict continuous data.

The seminar was useful as the participants learnt how to explore, analyze and visualize data with easy to use visual interface and Neural Network.
