International Conference (APMSCSET-2014)

Prof. (Dr.) R. C. Sharma from Applied Science and Humanities Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering Gurgaon presented his Research paper in the International Conference on “Innovative Approach in Applied Physical, Mathematical/Statistical, Chemical Sciences and Emerging Energy Technology for Sustainable Development (APMSCSET-2014)” at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi on September 28, 2014.

The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Gurmeet Singh, Professor and Head, Department of Chemistry, Delhi University.

The International Conference was divided into four sessions, three technical sessions for Oral presentation and one for Poster presentation on Mathematical/Statistical, Physical and Chemical Sciences and Emerging Energy Technology. 56 selected papers were invited for oral and poster presentation from all over the globe.

In the first session chaired by Dr. Vikash Rai J.N.U. New Delhi was on Mathematical and Statistical approach. 15 papers were presented based on the topics of the session. The subjects mainly included Bivariate Interpolation Methods Conceptualized for Effective Optimization, A technique for Graph Theoretical Approach Applied for EEG Features Identification and Modeling and Analysis of Latitude Based Solar radiation Models Suitable for Indian Cities.

The second session was Chaired by Dr. B.B. Singh Department of Chemistry, Dayal Singh College Delhi. The topic for this session was based on Applied Physical and Chemical Sciences. In this session 11 paper were presented on the topic of the session mainly: Neutron Imaging- a Versatile Technique to Investigate Internal Structure of Objects, Synthesis of TiO2 Nanoparticals by Sol-gel Method and Their Characteristics and Advanced Method of Detection of Adulterants parents in Alkaloids by R & D and Waste Water Treatment by ETP. Dr. R.C.Sharma, Professor, Dronacharya College of Engineering Gurgaon presented a research paper on the topic "Neutron Imaging- a Versatile Technique to Investigate Internal Structure of Objects". He explained in details the advancement and applications of Neutron Imaging.

In the third session, chaired by Dr. Mohmmad Sajid College of Engineering, Qassim University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabiai the subject was on Emerging Energy Technology. 18 papers were presented on Energy issues mainly: Development of Low Cost and User Friendly Medical Diagnostic Tools, Technical Aspects of fuel cell and A Review of solar Energy Tracker and Models.

The conference was concluded by the chair Dr. G.C. Mishra.
